The iMatchSheet is an electronic format of match sheets and enables clubs and referees to check and record match details in real time on the club’s grounds where matches are being played. The individual match sheets are validated/authorized by referees at the end of each match. All validated sheets automatically update results and point tables on the iCompMan iData pages and therefore bringing this information to the public the fastest possible way.

The iMatchSheet pages have been designed to work primarily on iPads but by default they also work well on Android tablets and Personal Computers.

The iMatchSheet allows real time recording of:

-Players played (incl. shirt numbers)
-Yellow and Red cards
-Substitutes
-Match Results

Suggested “work flow”

1.Clubs can select only matches scheduled for the day, i.e. when used on Saturday only matches for that day will display.
2.A club’s administrator prepares a match sheet before the start of a match by selecting players who will be playing. This mainly involves preselecting players who will be participating in the match.
3.Before the match start, a referee checks the match sheet incl. suspended players (suspended players are marked as “Suspended” on the match sheets). Referees can also check player’s photos.
4.At the conclusion of a match a referee (or an authorized person) enters Yellow and Red cards, checks the correctness of the match sheet, enters score and then validates the match sheet. Such a validation requires entry of the referee’s username and password. Validated match sheet can be re-opened only by the referee (or an authorized person).

The “data flow”

1.When a match sheet is validated, the results and point tables on the iCompMan iData pages (public data) are automatically updated.
2.Player yellow cards totals are updated and suggested suspensions are created in the system if the card’s count reaches one of the suspension rules break points. The suggested suspensions are marked as “AR” (authorization required) on the Offences pages and require authorization by the association/governing body.
3.Red cards/suspensions entered are marked as “AR” (authorization required) on the Offences pages and require authorization by the association/governing body.
4.Player Statistics is updated with the matches played count as well as yellow and red cards (when authorized).
